Collaborative Counseling Center is located at 8820 Columbia 100 Parkway, Suite 201, Columbia, MD 21045, a short drive from Clarksville via Route 108. The practice has served Howard County families, including many from Clarksville and the River Hill area, since 2013. Care covers the full range: psychiatric evaluation, medication management, ADHD testing and psychoeducational assessment, alongside individual, couples, family and group therapy and parent coaching. Call (443) 546-4000 to get started.
Clarksville itself has no freestanding outpatient psychiatry and therapy practice offering both halves of care in one place. Families who want that combination typically drive into Columbia, Ellicott City, or further toward Baltimore or Washington. Collaborative Counseling Center sits just off Route 108 in Columbia, close enough that the drive from most of Clarksville, including the River Hill area, runs about 20 minutes. Telehealth appointments are also available for patients who prefer not to make the drive for every visit.
Clarksville is an unincorporated Howard County community founded in 1851, and today it sits inside one of the wealthiest counties in the country, with some of the highest performing public schools in Maryland. That combination shapes what families are dealing with. Children and teens in Clarksville’s schools face real academic pressure. Parents, many commuting toward Baltimore or Washington along Route 108 and I-95, are managing demanding careers alongside family life. Collaborative Counseling Center’s clinical team sees these patterns often in patients from Clarksville and the surrounding River Hill and Fulton communities.
Collaborative Counseling Center treats every age, from young children through adults, and welcomes families, couples and individuals. The practice maintains an LGBTQ affirming environment and has built a decade of trust across Howard County, including Clarksville, Columbia and Ellicott City.
Every new patient can start with a free consultation with a licensed clinician. That clinician listens to what is going on and matches the patient to the right provider on the team, whether that means a psychiatric evaluation, individual therapy, or both.
The practice is located at 8820 Columbia 100 Parkway, Suite 201, Columbia, MD 21045. From most of Clarksville, the drive runs about 20 minutes via Route 108 East toward Columbia. Telehealth is available for patients who want to reduce the number of in person visits. Call (443) 546-4000 to confirm directions or ask about virtual appointment options.
Call (443) 546-4000 to request the free matching consultation or to schedule directly. The team can answer questions about insurance, services, directions from Clarksville, and telehealth availability.
