The evaluation comes first. The treatment plan comes from what it finds, not the other way around.
Collaborative Counseling Center provides psychiatric evaluations to patients from Clarksville, MD, of every age, at its Columbia office, 8820 Columbia 100 Parkway, Suite 201, Columbia, MD 21045, about a 20 minute drive via Route 108. Call (443) 546-4000 to schedule.
Many patients coming from Clarksville and the surrounding River Hill area are balancing demanding jobs, often with a commute toward Baltimore or Washington on top of the drive to Columbia. The team offers appointment times built around that reality and can discuss telehealth options for follow up care once the initial in person evaluation is complete.
If the evaluation points to medication management, that process begins at follow up. If therapy is appropriate, the team coordinates it within the same practice. Patients do not need to find a separate therapist or psychiatrist elsewhere.
Call (443) 546-4000 to schedule a psychiatric evaluation. The team can answer questions about what to expect, insurance and directions from Clarksville.

I’ve been a patient at Collaborative Counseling Center for nearly a decade, and I truly cannot speak highly enough about the level of care, compassion, and expertise I’ve received, especially from Dr. Greenberger.
No. The evaluation takes place at the Columbia office, about a 20 minute drive from Clarksville via Route 108.
The first appointment is a thorough evaluation covering current symptoms, history and life context. You leave with a working assessment, a treatment plan and clear next steps.
No referral is required. Call (443) 546-4000 to schedule directly.
Not necessarily. Whether medication is appropriate depends on what the evaluation shows.
Yes. The team evaluates children, teens and adults, led by a dually board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist.
Contact the office directly for current appointment length. It is designed to be thorough enough to support a real treatment plan, not a brief intake.
A list of current and past medications with dosages, any prior psychiatric records if available, and a rough timeline of when your current symptoms started.
