Harold Davis, LMSW

Harold Davis is a compassionate and caring individual with experience in providing meaningful and effective mental health support. His most recent therapeutic experiences include working with low-income housing individuals and providing therapy for spinal cord injury patients in Baltimore City. He has extensive experience working with children and their families. Harold holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Human Services from Kennesaw State University in Georgia. Before becoming a therapist, Harold enriched his professional and cultural perspective by teaching English in Spain and serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Indonesia. These experiences honed his ability to build rapport across diverse backgrounds and thrive in fast-paced environments. Harold’s high energy and outstanding work ethic help him excel in creating supportive and engaging therapeutic relationships. He believes in the importance of creating a safe space for all individuals and the dignity and worth of every person.

What is Social Thinking ®? 

Developing Social Competencies for children in grades 3-5th.

The Social Thinking ® Methodology offers evidence-based strategies that help individual competencies, flexible thinking, and social problem-solving skills. Learners can strengthen conversation skills, social connection, executive functioning, perspective taking, self-regulation, and relationship development while gaining a shared Social Thinking ® Vocabulary that supports success across settings. Across neurotypes, all students benefit from tools that help them think socially as they navigate both academic and social worlds.
