Adiva is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about supporting adolescents and adults ages 12 and up on their mental health journey. With extensive experience working with individuals facing acute mental health challenges, Adiva brings compassion, calm, and clinical expertise to every encounter. She is deeply committed to providing thoughtful, developmentally informed care that meets each person where they are.

Adiva offers comprehensive psychiatric medication management using a holistic, strengths-based approach that looks at the whole person, not just symptoms. She believes in collaboration and shared decision-making, helping clients feel informed, heard, and empowered throughout treatment.
 
In addition to medication management, Adiva also provides individual therapy using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches. She creates a warm, safe, and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, build coping skills, and grow toward improved emotional wellness and resilience.
 
Adiva truly enjoys working with children, teens, and young adults, and values supporting the entire family system. She also has extensive experience helping adults through acute mental health crises. Her areas of focus include depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, Autism, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, PTSD, and grief and loss. In every session, Adiva blends clinical skill with genuine care to meet each client’s unique needs.

What is Social Thinking ®? 

Developing Social Competencies for children in grades 3-5th.

The Social Thinking ® Methodology offers evidence-based strategies that help individual competencies, flexible thinking, and social problem-solving skills. Learners can strengthen conversation skills, social connection, executive functioning, perspective taking, self-regulation, and relationship development while gaining a shared Social Thinking ® Vocabulary that supports success across settings. Across neurotypes, all students benefit from tools that help them think socially as they navigate both academic and social worlds.
