Support for couples working through communication, conflict or a major life transition, twenty minutes from Clarksville.
Collaborative Counseling Center provides couples and marriage counseling to residents of Clarksville, MD, at its Columbia office, 8820 Columbia 100 Parkway, Suite 201, Columbia, MD 21045, about a 20 minute drive via Route 108. Call (443) 546-4000 to schedule.
Clarksville is one of the more affluent communities in a county that regularly ranks among the wealthiest in the country, which often means two demanding careers under one roof, long commutes toward Baltimore or Washington, and children in a competitive school environment. That combination puts real strain on couples, even ones without an obvious crisis. Couples therapy at this practice regularly works with partners trying to reconnect around a schedule that leaves little room for it.
Sessions are structured around what each couple is actually working through, rather than a single fixed program. The therapist works with both partners to identify patterns that are not serving the relationship and build more constructive ways of communicating and resolving conflict.
Couples often wait until a relationship feels close to a breaking point before seeking support. Counseling is often more effective earlier, when patterns are still forming rather than deeply entrenched, but it can help at any stage, including when one or both partners are unsure whether the relationship should continue.
Call (443) 546-4000 to schedule couples counseling. Evening appointment slots and telehealth options can help accommodate two working schedules.

It helps if both partners are willing to participate, but one partner reaching out first to ask questions is a normal way to start the process.
