Emily Greenberger, LCSW-C specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents and their families. Emily has extensive experience working in both public and private schools, outpatient mental health centers and other clinical community centers. Believing that behaviors are learned and therefore can be modified, enhanced and ultimately changed in a therapy setting, Emily uses a cognitive behavioral approach (CBT) that is person-centered, supportive and empowering. She educates and supports children and their families to make positive changes that enhance the child’s social and emotional functioning. She works with the “whole child” and collaborates with schools and outside professionals, advocating for her clients when needed. In addition to individual counseling and parent coaching, Emily facilitates social skills groups for children in grades Kindergarten through 5th, using the world-renowned Social Thinking ® curriculum. Emily also conducts parent workshops on various topics of interest and is available to speak at your organization or school about topics related to improving children’s social and emotional functioning. Emily is providing teletherapy services through a virtual platform, allowing clients and family to receive services from the convenience of their homes.
